Nexus Fanfare

Grade 2.5

The South Central Iowa Bandmaster Association commissioned this celebratory and energetic piece for their district honor band. I was honored for the opportunity to create a work that would not only celebrate the occasion but have an educational impact in the classroom.

An excellent choice for teaching with rhythmic comparison.

Come, Sweet Death

Grade 3, Flexible Instrumentation

Arranging iconic works for flexible instrumentation is such a valuable contribution to the music community. It allows bands with smaller or unique setups to experience and perform great pieces of band literature. I am honored to have made an important contribution in crafting this arrangement allowing more musicians to learn, enjoy, and perform a classic work.
